Nahum

1. BG | SAB | God is jealous and avenging, and will unleash His wrath on His enemies. God is slow to anger, but the guilty will not go unpunished. God is a fear inspiring force, but a refuge to those who trust in Him. God will utterly destroy Nineveh, thereby releasing the Israelites from slavery. God will no longer afflict the Israelites. They will have festivals and will fulfill their vows. They will never again be invaded by the wicked, as the wicked will be destroyed.

2. 
   BG | SAB | God will restore the splendor of Jacob and Israel. God is summoning a large, fast,and fearsome force to invade, destroy, and plunder Nineveh. The inhabitants of Nineveh will be exiled. God will kill the rulers of Nineveh, and their families.

3. BG | SAB | An army approaches to lay Nineveh to waste, all because of the unbridled lusts of the rulers who enslaved nations with prostitution and witchcraft. God will shame them. God will destroy them like Thebes was destroyed. Nineveh's soldiers are like scared women. The merchants which brought them wealth will take the wealth and flee. Officials and guards will also flee. Nobody will defend them, and everyone will be happy to hear of their destruction because of their cruelty.
